Truth is Freedom

Thoughts while watching a movie about Martin Luther.

There is no middle ground between right and wrong!!!

I feel like Martin Luther when he was taken before the Catholic church and ORDERED to recant his writings that he wrote with conviction.  He believed his writings were true.  They were.  The 'holier than thou' catholic church just didn't think so.  (No offense to the catholic church now....that's not my point.)  They didn't want their precious world to come tumbling down, just like some people I know.

Luther said, when standing before the CC, that unless God convicts him otherwise he cannot....he will not... recant or repent of his writings.

I cannot.....I will not.....recant of the truth....nor for the love we have shone others.  If it offends you, then maybe you should have loved more.

Martin Luther was out to change the Christian world.....he succeeded!

I just want people to truly know God's love, mercy, and forgiveness.

You don't bend those you love to your will......as the CC had done way back when...and as I have seen done in relationships in my time.  You don't have to BEND love, love gives willingly.

REAL LOVE doesn't try to break you!!  Real love.....loves....simple as that.

Lies were spread about Luther that he was preaching that all Christians should take what they want.  Others, who thought they were doing Luther a favor, were spewing that vile garbage.  That also sounds familiar.

Love doesn't' have to BEND you to it's will.  Love will help you see the light, the love, the truth.

"I feel your heart when we make music together....but when the music ends, you flee."  ----Martin Luther's love...to him.

People don't like it when you upset their world with the truth.  They don't want to know the truth.  They just want to go on with their lives like they always have.  They are SCARED of the truth.  They are scared of the unknown......WHY????

TRUTH IS FREEDOM!!!!

Ending of movie:

"What happened at Augsburg pushed open the door of religious freedom.  Today over 540 million people worship in churches inspired by his Reformation."

What is happening in my daughter's heart, and her deep rooted faith that God will do what He said He would do, will eventually see my daughter's desires of her heart granted.

She KNOWS God will give her the desires of her heart.  Of this....she has NO DOUBTS!!  She has that much faith in God.

Do you??
