The Socialization of the Church

Churches are becoming alot like our public schools. All they care about is 'socialization'. They are pushing that agenda real heavy in some churches. Don't care a thing about getting the gospel into our youth. Just want them to be able to hang out together and hold each others hands if some are not as bold as others. That's all well and good. Young people need to encourage each other, but not at the expense of preaching and hearing God's word. Christians are to preach the word to sinners, not each other. They should go to church to get re-fueled NOT to socialize with each other. If that's the case, then why have preachers preach? And our youth today need some serious bible studies. Every time their church doors are open for service, young christian people should have bibles in hand, ready to dig in. The world is not getting any easier to live in. It's getting worse. And churches NEED to quit playing around with the souls of their youth and get serious about equiping and training them with some heavy ammo to go out into the world to spread God's word. Wake up church. Do you want the blood of the youth of YOUR church dripping from your fingers? I don't.
And on another note. Who knew church members could get so spiteful when you don't want to follow their traditional socialistic theology. They call you stuborn, look at you with contempt, and TRY to humiliate you to get you to conform to their way of thinking. But as long as you are following God, don't give up my friend. Remember the bible says that CHRISTIANS (those who follow Jesus's teachings and not church theology) will be persecuted. Even by family and church, if you step outside 'the box'. Hang on to God and Psalms 91. Believe with all your heart and every thing will be OK.
