Hectic morning. Hectic week for that matter. I think I was away from my home every single day this week. I don't mind. I was doing for family. Knowing I was helping someone out makes being tired more tolerable. Monday took Duncan to get his hair clipped. Tuesday, Grace and I went for a hike with fellow homeschoolers at Fort Jesup. Wednesday had a cardiology appointment at noon and Grace had to be back in Natchitoches by 5 pm. We were 15 minutes late for that. Doctor's visit wasn't what I expected. Had a new doctor. Don't know if he's really trying to help or just show off for peers. Told me my heart function was down to 25%. Taken from info off of echo done in July?. I think the one before that was 35%. Didn't see that coming. Also said he wanted me to see an EP Specialist about having a defibrilator (?spelling?) put in to control irregular heart beats. IHB hasn't bothered me. Have them alot but don't worry about them. Just a part of my life. Not sure I'm going to let them put a defib in me. Another surgery I DO NOT want. Also increased one of my meds. Actually doubled it. Trying to cope with side effects. The other thing for Wednesday was Grace's orientation at Raising Canes. She will start working there. Thursday took her to training class for job. She didn't like it at all. Said all they talked about was drinking and partying. Not her cup of tea. She's a godly christian young lady and didn't care for that kind of chatter. I'm proud of her. Encouraged her to stick it out. It was only her first day around 'outsiders'. Told her to see how actual job goes before she decides not to work there. Friday - up at 5 am (thanks Soly). Went to Mrs. M's only to find two of her daughters there. Only needed me for about an hour. Said they could take care of her rest of day. Was glad. Need a break (or so I thought) before grocery shopping. Took Grace to work, came back home to find a message from aunt needing me to pick her up in Natchitoches. Got home, cooked me some lunch, collected Grace's package from DHL (finally) and went back to town to g shop and pick up Grace. Tomorrow - will be up at 4 am to be at work at polls by 5 am. Will work until 8 pm that night. Sunday - church, nursing home service, pick up Makalin for overnight stay. Monday - ? probably Grace work and me keep Makalin. Will see.
The docs may say I only have 25% function cap. for heart, but GOD knows what I need and want to do and He sees fit for me to do all this. I give Him all the praise and glory.
