Russian Nutcracker

We are just getting home from a day of shopping, dinner, and theatre. Grace, Mom, and I went shopping in Shreveport, had dinner at Olive Garden, and then went to the Strand Theatre to see the Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker. It was AWESOME!!! That was the first time we had been to something like that. It was truly an amazing experience. You can get a sneak peek at what we saw by checking out www.moscowballet.com. Then click on the Nutcracker. Going to this ballet was part of Grace's birthday activities. Her birthday is not until December 1, but since it's her 18th birthday, why not start celebrating early. Tonight was girl's nite out. Sunday we will make homemade pizzas with family, and then Monday (her birthday) will be spent with a few friends (and me of course) in downtown historic Natchitoches. We'll do a little shopping, have lunch, and take a carriage ride. It's not everyday a girl turns 18.

Happy Thanksgiving
(Remember to tell God how very thankful you are for all He has done for you.)
