Be a REBEL

The way I see it........

Upsetting the balance of power can be just a wee bit dangerous.
Questioning authority of ANY kind can get you in a heap of trouble.
Taking on money can get you lied about, ridiculed, and banished from certain places.....depending on the situation.

Does doing any of those things sound like a rebel to you?  It does to me.  Christians better start becoming rebels instead of sitting passively on the sidelines wishing things would change but never being brave enough to take a stand.

UPSET the balance of power!  Sometimes a fresh perspective on things is all that's needed.

QUESTION authority when you feel something is not right!  Don't be afraid!!  Religious authority might be the hardest to question, because people don't want to think their religious figures might be wrong...... that's why most of the churches in America are dead.  No one is brave enough to question that kind of authority.  Wrong is wrong and right is right no matter who you are.

Take on and challenge money.  If the rebels would bring down the 'Aunt Pollys' in the world and church.....the church could then be truly blessed.

For way too long, the church has sat idly by while society, money, power, and religious authority (only those seeking money & power or who want to live by the world's social standards) has brought down the church.  When are we going say "Enough is enough"!!

It's time to rise up and rebel!!  But BEWARE!!!!!

You WILL face opposition from family, friends, and even the 'asleep church' who are perfectly comfortable and don't want change.  You may even have total rejection from some of those.  But as long as you stay in Christ, you will never be alone.

Jesus rebelled! Read your Bible people. And look at the opposition He faced.....from religious authority......from friends.......from family.......from money (that would be the Romans).  Oh, to be more like Jesus!!

I hope I have stirred the mind and given you thoughts to ponder.  Stop being so passive and get out there and DO something!!
