It's sad really. Professing Christians (just a nice name for sinner or backslider), sinners, and backsliders honestly think God has answered their prayers. Don't they know that the devil can answer their prayers as well? He is, after all, the angel of light.
The devil is constantly going to and fro in the world seeking out those he can devour (deceive). He knows in the end where he will end up, and he's going to take as many as he can with him.
He's got a whole bunch of 'professing' Christians following him straight to hell.

This one particular lady comes to mind as I write this. I would call her a professing Christian (judging by her actions, her very evident manipulating behavior, and not-so-nice pictures I have seen of her).
This lady actually thinks God answers her prayers. But you can tell by the way she acts in her daily life, that God no more answers her prayers than I can. But she actually believes God is answering her prayers.

God doesn't allow His children to dabble in other religious practices land still remain in His good graces by answering their prayers. Christians need to watch closely what they allow themselves to get involved in.

Even things you would think are just 'kid's play', or that's just a little quiz, or that's just a quote......the devil uses for his honor and glory. People see this and wonder who you are really serving.
God IS a jealous God.....the Bible says so. If professing Christians dabble in such practices, that's all they are....professing. That gets them absolutely nowhere with God. God is jealous and wants no other gods being worshiped but him.

I believe the devil answers people's prayers all the time. He does this to keep them thinking that God does so they will continue professing Christianity.
Satan doesn't care one little bit if you are a 'professing' Christian so long as you do not actually LIVE like one.
You can PROFESS all day long. He doesn't care!!! He's just sitting back laughing his fool head off knowing that he's got you "hook-line-and sinker'.
The devil believes in God......he was once God's right-hand-man.
The devil believes that Jesus is the Son of God.....he was there.
The devil goes to church on Sundays. Probably sitting with his arm around some of you, just to make sure you don't go to any extremes and actually get truly saved.
The devil causes all kinds of distractions in services to get professing Christian's minds off the word of God. He's good like that.
The world is watching. Go ahead and say you're a Christian. The world will know, by the life you live outside of church, whether or not you TRULY are.
If you live like the world lives, how are they to know there is a BETTER WAY?
Secular music, alcoholic drinks (no matter what they are), the way you dress, ogling women/men, the vulgar language that comes out of your mouth, the games you play, the creatures you let represent you......these are but a few of the many things that the world participates in that some professing Christians also participate in.
If you are a professing Christian, and someone has wronged you, you have a tendency to hate them. I know some professing Christians like that.
If you are a true Christian, and someone has wronged you, you pray for them, and love them all the more now. I know some Christians like that. They get done wrong, but they don't hate. They continue to love and pray for those that are spiteful and hateful toward them.
Yea, the devil doesn't care on little bit if you are a professing Christian......just so long as you aren't genuine.
I'm well aware that Matthew 7:1 says ~ Judge not, that ye be not judged.
I am not judging here. I am simply letting readers know that there is a difference between genuine Christianity and professing Christianity.
Genuine Christianity WANTS to be different from the world.
Professing Christianity wants the best of both worlds. But you just can't have it 'your way'....the best of both worlds (according to you) and still make it to heaven.
Things have to be done God's way.......PERIOD!!!!!
It's Gods way.....or hells way!!

I think everyone should 'think deep'....especially when it comes to their Christian walk. There are too many 'shallow' Christians out there who don't even want to think too deeply about their Christian walk. I think they are afraid of what they might find.
